Independent Living

Separate to our Nursing home , but only a two minute walk away (linked by a glass walkway), our one and two bedroom Independent Living apartments are designed for comfortable, easy and secure living, with all modern conveniences available.

These attractive apartments are best suited to Residents (and Partners, Family or Carers) who are primarily able to look after themselves but who will enjoy the security of our small community, and the fact that in the case of an emergency, you will have direct access to our 24 hour Nursing Home team. In addition, the on-site range of facilities, social activities and services are aimed at supporting our Residents to live their lives to the full.

Services range from housekeeping and personal care help, our own driver for local shopping trips, to nutritious meals delivered to your table. So basically, you can live totally independently and just seek those services, if any, that you may need or enjoy.

Apartments will be your own home on either a short, or a long term lease basis, depending on your wishes.

The following services are included in the lease arrangement:

Daily knock (unless Residents prefer otherwise) to say hello, and to let Residents know what is going on today by way of activities, plus to confirm any service they have requested for that day.
Emergency call system direct into the Nursing home
On site security man and gated access security and intruder alarms
On-site Handyman, available to assist you with basic home repairs such as minor plumbing or electrical problems, or to just change those difficult o reach light bulbs!
Library, computer access and all other facilities within the Nursing home
Access to entertainment and activities in the Nursing home

Additional fee based services menu that you may pick and choose from:

Full main meal service delivered to your table
Laundry and housekeeping service - if you want any help around the house, or even with the laundry, you can simply pick and choose what suits you from a menu of available services.
Personal care assistance
GP, Chiropody, Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy and other care services
Hairdressing and various treatments in the salon

1 and 2 Bed Apartments

Emergency Bell system – An accessible bell system is linked directly into the Nursing Home, and 7 days a week, 24 hours a day, one of our Carers will respond

We have a great number of services available on-site, and Residents may simply pick those services which they require at any point in time, as a once off or as an on-going service.
